Outside of squash she loves soul, R'n'B music, spending time with my friends and helping other people. In the future she would like to get involved in some more charity and volunteering work. During Christmas 2010 she volunteered for "Crisis" the homeless charity with Anita (her personal trainer and close friend). "It was a thoroughly rewarding experience and opened my eyes to life as a homeless person in the depths of winter." She also enjoyed running the Brentwood half marathon in March 2011. She managed a fairly respectable time of 2 hours 40 seconds as well as raising much needed funds for Beacon Hill Special Needs School in South Ockenden where her close friend, Kate Poppy, is currently working as a teacher.
